“You are a big disaster” – Dbanj blasts fan who performed Wizkid’s ‘Reckless’ on Nigerian idol

An online video of Nigerian Idol Season 8 has emerged, generating reactions among netizens.

Notable judges D’banj, Simi, and Obi Asika returned for this season, following the victory of Progress Chukwuyem in the previous season.

During the competition, one contestant stood out by performing Wizkid’s popular hit song, Reckless, from his 2020 album Made in Lagos, which set records both locally and internationally.

Unfortunately, the middle-aged contestant’s rendition of the hit song fell short of the judges’ expectations, leaving D’banj, Simi, and Obi Asika short of words.
In response to the performance, D’banj wasted no time in expressing his opinion.

“You’re not just a star, you are a big disaster.” He said
