Yemi Alade speaks on being compared to Beyonce

Yemi Alade has refused to be compared to Beyonce which was done by fellow singer Seyi Shay.

In the light of Yemi Alade’s new single with US rapper Rick Ross, Seyi Shay took to social media to praise her, and it seems she must have done too much of it with just two words.

She wrote:

“African beyonce”

In response, Yemi Alade felt it was not the right thing for her to be compared with Beyonce whom she says is a source of inspiration to her. According to her, there can never be another Beyonce.

She replied:

“My queen. I love her, inspired by her but don’t wanna be another version of her. There can never be another her sef as there will never be another me.”
