Xavi Simons responds to Bayern Munich transfer claims

Bayern Munich are reportedly eyeing a move for PSG’s Xavi Simons, following his impressive loan spell at RB Leipzig last season.

The 21-year-old Dutch midfielder scored 15 goals and provided ten assists in 43 appearances for Leipzig.

Despite PSG’s interest in loaning Simons out again, several top European clubs are keen on acquiring his services.

According to Sky Germany, Bayern Munich are particularly interested and aims to include a purchase option in the loan deal, valued between €60–€70 million.

However, Simons addressed these claims after the Netherlands’ 0-0 draw with France at Euro 2024.

He stated, “I’m currently with the national team. I’ll make a decision after the European Championship, but right now it’s important to make history with my country.”
