Woman adjusts amidst high cost of living, cuts one fish into 18
A Nigerian woman laments the high cost of living while slicing a single titus which costs 1500 naira into small pieces of almost 20.
A video making the rounds on social media captured the strategy used by a mother to challenge escalating food prices.
She explained that she had sent someone to the market to purchase fish for her, but she was dissatisfied with the size of the cuts.
Expressing her distress at the increasingly unmanageable cost of food items, the woman criticized her daughter for allowing the vendor to cut the fish into big sizes.
While setting aside two thicker pieces for her husband, the remaining flat pieces were designated for everyone else in the household.
“You allowed them cut Titus fish this big for you, in this Tinubu government,” she said as she began to cut them into very tiny pieces
