Nigerian singer and songwriter, Harrysong, took his mother on a dinner date to an upscale restaurant, where an interesting exchange took place over the cost of their meal.
Curiosity piqued, she questioned what would happen if she finished her rice before the salad arrived.
To her surprise, Harrysong assured her that more portions of rice would be served, ensuring she enjoyed a fulfilling dining experience.
However, the revelation of the meal’s cost left the elderly woman astonished.
She expressed her discomfort, suggesting that such a lavish meal must have cost more than a thousand naira.
Unfazed by her skepticism, Harrysong explained to his mother that the meal was part of a buffet, for which he had paid a staggering sum of N30,000.
The unexpected disclosure sent shockwaves down his mother’s spine, as she exclaimed in disbelief.
She questioned why her son hadn’t simply given her the money instead, allowing her to enjoy a more modest meal in the comfort of their home.
In response, Harrysong urged his mother to simply enjoy her meal and reassured her that he would provide her with N100,000.
