“Why Portable thinks I’m using him for clout” – Ashabi Simple opens up on her relationship with the singer

Nigerian singer Portable’s 4th baby mama, Ashabi Simple, has denied allegations of clout-chasing and offered insights into the dynamics of her relationship with the singer.

The controversy erupted after Ashabi Simple shared insights into her relationship with Portable during an interview with actress Abiola Adebayo.

The interview, which Portable found displeasing, prompted him to take to social media and express his dissatisfaction.

He went on to berate Ashabi Simple, claiming that she is merely a side chic to him, emphasizing that without his name added to hers, she would amount to nothing in the public eye.

In response to these allegations, Ashabi Simple, in an exclusive interview with Punch, addressed the situation.

“That is just how human beings are. He is a celebrity, and he thinks I just want to use him to trend. He is just being protective, but I have to work. I do not disrespect him,” Ashabi Simple said.

“I do not see the trolls because I don’t follow any blogs, and I have locked my comment section. I don’t need anybody to care; it is my life,” she added.
