“Why invite me out on a date when we have to split bills” — Nigerian lady rages at Oyinbo man
A UK-based Nigerian lady has aired her grievances with Oyinbo man who asked her to split bills with him despite being the one to ask her out on a date.
Making a video, she narrated how hard it is as a Nigerian woman to date men abroad because unlike Nigerian men, they don’t spoil their women.
Recalling a date she went on with an Oyinbo man, they had gone to a Turkish restaurant per his request.
According to her, she wasn’t even used to that sort of food so she did not eat as much.
After eating the meal, the waiter had come up to them, asking if they should split the bill.
She initially thought it meant that he wanted them to split it so he could pay in cash and also by card.
However, the waiter brought the bills, giving it to each of them to pay for their meal.
The Nigerian lady explained she had to pay to avoid embarrassment but that was the last time the Oyinbo man heard from her.
