A young man by the name Zeez has described how he got into the habit of ending things with all of his ex-girlfriends when their birthdays are coming up.

He stated that because of his “sapa”—brokeness—he was compelled to constantly figure out his girlfriend’s birthday in order to break off contact before it arrived because he didn’t have the money to celebrate with her or buy her gifts.

The young man made the revelation on the micro blogging platform, Twitter, while reacting to a tweet by a netizen who claimed that a guy can’t really be a good boyfriend without cash.

Reacting, Zeez wrote;

“Sapa no good oo. I remember say i de always de calculate babe birthday so I go don cut ties with ham before her birthday reach.”
