“We create problems for our rivals” – Ancelotti boasts after Real Madrid’s title win

Real Madrid sealed their first title of the 2023/24 season against arch-rivals Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup final on Sunday.

The team’s dominant 4-1 victory was a huge statement about Carlo Ancelotti’s men form, and status as serious contenders in multiple competitions this season.

Vinicius Junior was the star of the show, scoring a first-half hat trick that left Barcelona gasping for air.

Despite ongoing injury concerns, Real Madrid’s focus now shifts to the Copa del Rey last 16 tie against city rivals Atletico Madrid.

But Ancelotti in his post-match media conference, was optimistic about his team’s chances, emphasizing their dangerous attacking strength and the problems they pose for their opponents.

“We’re very dangerous and create a lot of problems for our rivals. We have to take advantage of this moment, keep working, and enjoying the atmosphere.”

Real Madrid’s next hurdle will be against Almeria in La Liga as they continue their pursuit of the league title.
