Victor is coming – Osimhen agent Calenda warns, congratulates striker on Ballon d’Or ranking
Victor Osimhen agent Roberto Calenda has congratulated the Napoli star for ranking 8 in the 2023 Ballon d’Or.
Osimhen is now the first Napoli player to finish in the top 10 and the highest-ranked Nigerian player in the award’s history.
The remarkable achievement sets new record for Napoli, surpassing Ruud Krol’s 15th place ranking in 1980.
Calenda made a post on X, expressing his pride and believe in Osimhen’s future. He stated, “You made history and the future is yours. Victor is coming!”

Osimhen outstanding performance in Serie A last season, where he scored 26 goals in 32 appearances, not only made him the league’s top scorer but also played a significant role in Napoli securing their first Scudetto in 33 years.
However, Osimhen is currently sidelined due to a muscle injury, but he has maintained an impressive goal-scoring record, with six goals in 10 appearances across all competitions this season.
In 2023 alone, he has seen the back of the net 23 times in the Italian Serie A, putting him among the fastest rising stars in the game.
