Victor Boniface extends Bayer Leverkusen contract until 2029
Victor Boniface has signed a new one-year contract extension with Bayer Leverkusen, keeping him at the club until 2029.
The 24-year-old Nigerian forward has become one of Leverkusen’s top earners following his impressive performances since joining from Belgian Pro League side Union Saint-Gilloise in 2023.
Boniface enjoyed a stellar debut season under Xabi Alonso, winning both the Bundesliga title and the DFB Pokal.
While the contract renewal signals Leverkusen’s intent to retain the striker, the club have not declared him unsellable.
Leverkusen are reportedly open to offers, but interested suitors would need to meet a valuation of at least €50m.
Boniface’s performances have caught the attention of clubs worldwide, including interest from teams in Saudi Arabia.
