US-based man deletes throwback photo for triggering sad memories
A US-based Ghanaian man comes face-to-face with a past version of himself which evoked difficult memories that triggered him to delete a photo.
The young man identified as @official_clev on X shared a throwback photo of himself while struggling in Ghana before relocating to the United States.
According to him, he randomly stumbled on the photo which gave him a chill because of how bad he looked and the memories it brought back.
“I just saw an old picture of myself and I got so sad, had to delete it because it was really bad💔. I mean it when I say, ‘Man is man but GOD is Divine,” he wrote.
His post sparked varied reactions among his followers. Some supported his decision, while others felt he should have kept the photo as a marker of his journey.
One user, @doeyoasante, commented, “You didn’t have to delete it! It’s a testament to the incredible ways the Lord has blessed you. Just think about it—times and seasons, they’re all part of the amazing journey!”
