UK based woman heartbroken as husband set to return to Nigeria and remarry

A Nigerian woman based in the UK shattered as she discovers her husband secretly plans to come back to Nigeria, remarry and leave her stranded.

The message was announced by a social media user on X, @theakinrinde, who appealed to fellow Nigerians in the UK to assist her.

She was brought to the foreign country in 2022 as a dependent to the man, six months after they got married.

Only for the husband to inform his wife about traveling to Nigeria this year but he didn’t make it very clear what the purpose of the trip was.

Out of curiosity, she decided to go through his phone and was absolutely devastated by the information she discovered.

Her husband was set on marrying somebody down in Nigeria and a date for the court wedding has already been secured.

Even though she contacted a lawyer, she was informed that nothing can be done to help her as the man could change his mind regarding their marriage at anytime.

She currently seeks help in finding a job that can put her on sponsorship in the UK as the husband had everything meticulously planned out and is set to leave in 3 weeks for his new wife.
