UK-based Nigerian man foils daylight robbery in Middlesbrough, retrieves stolen headphone
A UK-based Nigerian man living in Middlesbrough has issued a warning after falling victim to a daylight robbery.
According to him, a group of boys on bikes snatched his headphones, but he managed to track them down using his Nigerian instincts and successfully retrieved his belongings.
In a video shared on TikTok, he recounted the incident, revealing that he was simply walking down the street when the attackers struck.
“I just got attacked right now by some boys on the streets of Middlesbrough, and I’m making this video to warn everyone to be careful,” he said.
He explained that he was listening to music with his headphones when the group suddenly snatched them and sped off on bikes. However, as a Nigerian man, he relied on his instincts, taking a shortcut to intercept them.
“I tracked them down, I knew the turns they would take,” he continued. “They even brought out a crossbow to try and hit me, but I got my headphones back.”
