Ugezu Ugezu schools Ossai Success over comments on Davido and Chioma’s pre-wedding photos
Nollywood actor and filmmaker Ugezu Ugezu criticized Ossai Ovie Success for his comments on the attire worn by Davido and Chioma in their pre-wedding photos.
You may recall that Ossai Success called out Davido for disrespecting the Igbo culture by dressing in a Yoruba attire with Chioma in their pre-wedding photos.
According to him, wearing the bride’s cultural attire is a gesture of respect and unity in Africa.
However, Ugezu refuted this claim, stating that no such custom exists in Igbo tradition. He added that no Igbo family would disapprove of their in-law for wearing attire from their own culture.
His words: “@ossaioviesuccessofficial… Please my brother, when you wish to talk about Ndigbo, say only the things you know…. or you ask questions. What you just said has no place in Igbo tradition. People can do that for the razzmatazz, but it is not rooted in culture to warrant a mention. No family in Igboland will frown at their inlaw because he dressed his root. One Love”
