UCL last-16 draw: Arsenal, Man City lucky, as Napoli face Barcelona
Arsenal and Man City must feel favoured in the Champions League last-16 draw, with Napoli set for a tough encounter with Barcelona.
The Gunners secured a tie against Porto, while Manchester City will face Copenhagen.
Both English clubs, having advanced as group winners, managed to avoid heavyweight opponents like Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Bayern Munich.
The draw also grants a tactical advantage to Arsenal and Manchester City as they will play the first leg away from home.
The first legs are scheduled for February 13/14 and February 20/21, with the return legs on March 5/6 and March 12/13.
Arsenal and Porto last met in the 2009/10 season, with Porto winning the first leg 2-1. However, Arsenal mounted a comeback, winning the second leg 5-0 at the Emirates Stadium to advance to the quarter-finals.
On the other hand, Manchester City will have to gear up for any surprise, as they face Copenhagen, a team they faced in the group stage last season.
City drew away but secured a 5-0 victory at home against the Danish side.
Meanwhile, Victor Osimhen’s Napoli will battle Barcelona and Inter Milan will go up against Atletico Madrid in what promises to be an exciting round of fixtures.
