Uche Ogbodo takes time out to advise housewives to get jobs so they don’t remain in abusive marriages

Nigerian actress and philanthropist, Uche Ogbodo, has taken time out to advise housewives to get jobs so they don’t remain in abusive marriages.

The married actor was only recently in the news over her opinion on the plantain saga.

Recently, she has written specially to women who remain in abusive situations because they depend on the man.

Uche Ogbodo implores them to do something about this in 2024 by getting work to do so they can comfortably provide for themselves and their children.

In her words;

“Dear Woman,
Please look for work or trade to do this year 2024.
You cannot keep suffering because you solely depend on your husband….
Fear of what to eat or how to take care of your kids is not enough reason to stay in an abusive marriage”
