Tricycle thieves arrested in Kano
Two thieves identified as Ado Yusuf, and Rabi’u Suleiman, alleged to have stolen tricycles belongings to residents, have been arrested by operatives of the Kano State Police Command.
This was disclosed in a statement issued by the command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Abdullahi Haruna, on Thursday.
He noted that the tricycles have been recovered and handed over to their owners.
He also stated that the recovery was made possible by a well-coordinated intelligence-led raid on criminal hideouts in Dambatta LGA, Kano State.
“The Command urges members of the public who have fallen victim to similar crimes, specifically those whose tricycles have been snatched through drugging or other means, to report to the office of the Police Public Relations Officer at command’s Headquarters Bompai for possible identification,” the statement added.
