Transformation photo of Zamfara man freed after 7 months in bandits’ captivity causes buzz

Bashir Shuaibu Umar shared the stark transformation of Abdulrahman Dan Gulbi, a Zamfara man who was freed from the clutches of bandits after enduring 7 months of captivity.

The harrowing ordeal came to an end on October 18, 2023, when he was released, and the stark transformation in his appearance has left many in shock.

Abdulrahman Dan Gulbi, a resident of Maru Local Government Area in Zamfara State, had been kidnapped by bandits while on his way to his hometown.

The announcement of his release was made by a Facebook user, Bashir Shuaibu Umar, who shared the before and after photos of the victim on social media.

Abdulrahman’s appearance in the ‘before’ photo depicted a vibrant young man, full of life and vitality.

However, the ‘after’ photo reveals a stark contrast: a visibly emaciated and weary individual, bearing the unmistakable scars of a traumatic experience.

“To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return. How a young man changed after he spent 7 months in the hands of kidnappers. Today 18/10/2023 Allah the Almighty has given this servant a way out of the hands of terrorists after spending seven months (7 months) in their hands. This young man named Abdulrahman Dan Gulbi who is working for Gwam_gwam, was taken along the way to Dangulbi, Maru Local Government Area, Zamfara State, May Allah intervene between the wicked and the good.”
