Transfer: Pogba linked with MLS move as Los Angeles FC make initial contact

Paul Pogba, currently serving an 18-month doping ban, has drawn interest from Major League Soccer side Los Angeles FC (LAFC).

This comes ahead of his possible return to competitive action in March 2025.

Despite his eligibility to return next year, Juventus are reportedly looking to part ways with the French midfielder.

According to reports from Calciomercato.com and Tuttosport, LAFC has initiated contact with Pogba.

While Marseille have shown interest in keeping him in Europe, options from other continents, including Asia and North America, are also in play.

LAFC could make space for Pogba by freeing up designated player slots, with contracts for Hugo Lloris and Carlos Vela set to expire at the end of the year.

This could pave the way for Pogba’s move to the MLS for the 2025 season.
