Transfer: Barcelona, Manchester City reportedly join race for Cesc Fabregas

Cesc Fabregas’ impressive start to life as a manager has attracted interest from several European giants, most recent being Barcelona and Manchester City.

The 37-year-old has shown promise manging Serie A newcomers Como.

Despite being tipped for relegation, Como has climbed to 13th in the standings under Fabregas’ guidance, with recent victories over Fiorentina and Napoli further enhancing his reputation.

His tactical approach has not gone unnoticed, with reports from Il Messaggero (via Football Italia) suggesting that Barcelona, Manchester City, AC Milan, and Inter Milan are monitoring his progress.

As earlier reported by Gistreel, Milan could be the first club to make a move, given that Sergio Conceiçao’s position is already under scrutiny.

Meanwhile, Barcelona see Fabregas as a potential future option, though they remain committed to Hansi Flick for the next few years.

While interest in Fabregas continues to grow, his current focus remains on keeping Como in Serie A.

However, if he maintains his strong start in management, a move to one of Europe’s elite clubs could soon be on the horizon.
