“Training for MMA fight” – Mark Zuckerberg tears his ACL ahead of MMA fight with Elon Musk, undergoes surgery
American business magnate, computer programmer, internet entrepreneur, and founder of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, tore his ACL while training for his MMA fight with Twitter CEO Elon Musk.
The mixed martial arts fight between these two billionaires was originally scheduled for August 26 but was postponed for unknown reasons.
In a recent Facebook post about his newly sustained injury, Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg hinted that the event would now take place in 2024, which is next year.
He wrote: “Tore my ACL sparring and just got out of surgery to replace it. Grateful for the doctors and team taking care of me. I was training for a competitive MMA fight early next year, but now that’s delayed a bit. Still looking forward to it after I recover. Thanks to everyone for the love and support.”
Shortly after his statement, thousands of well-wishers flooded his comment section to send their condolences.
