Tinubu seeks solution to tanker explosions, condoles Enugu families

President Bola Tinubu has expressed his condolences to the government and people of Enugu State following a tragic fuel tanker explosion on Saturday that claimed multiple lives.

In a statement issued on Sunday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, and titled “President Tinubu Mourns Victims of Fuel Tanker Explosion, Condoles with Enugu State Government,” the president called for immediate action to prevent similar incidents.

The tanker reportedly lost control and burst into flames along the Ugwu-Onyeama section of the Enugu-Onitsha Expressway, marking yet another devastating fuel tanker accident, just days after a similar tragedy in Niger State that killed over 80 people.
