Thyroid survivor explains her journey with the disease

A young lady has taken to her social media to explain the details of her experience while surviving Thyroid disease.

She made this known to the Public on the Tiktok app, where she chronicled the events around her survival of the disease on her account, @tinpretty02.

The thyroid disease is mostly characterized by swelling in the neck due to an enlarged thyroid gland(goitre).

The lady explained how she was always a hot girl and had no idea of having the disease until some of the symptoms like Swollen neck and bulging eyes, started showing.

Different hospitals rejected her for surgery because the Thyroid function was too big. She took drugs to regulate it but it kept growing at the speed of light.

Along the line, she developed high BP. Her family did their best to make her happy with her sister then took her out to play Virtual Reality games in order to cheer her up, while the rest of her siblings made her birthday the best.

She was finally booked for surgery, which fortunately went well. Her gratitude to her family is unmatched as they made sure to stay by her side every step of the way during the Thyroid surgery.

The plaster was removed and now can finally move around without a scarf to hide her neck.
