Thuggery is the constituency of the ruling party, I’m changing that — Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour (Video)
The aspiring governorship candidate of the Labour Party, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour alias GRV, promises to end the thuggery system of APC in Lagos State.
GRV who is the strongest opponent against the incumbent governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu of APC made this known in an interview with the media personality, Chude Jideonwo.
While referencing the 2022 Independence Day rally, he argued that the thuggery (agbero) system practised in Lagos State is chaotic and oppressive, hence, a need for his administration to come in and put an end to it.
Gbadebo also referenced the late leader of the secessionist Republic of Biafra, Odumegwu Ojukwu whom he claimed was fearless and stood for his people.
He argued that the current administration is aware of the oppression and the flaws in their party but they are too scared to come out clean.
“Did you witness the October 1st rally in Lagos state? It was boisterous, it was full of so much energy. Now if you look at most of those people that came out, they’re the working class people, not Agberos. The Agbero’s that are knocking on people’s car and robbing them, that is the constituency of the ruling party and we’re trying to change that. I’m not going to Out-Goliath Goliath, i am going to come as David in this story,” Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour stated.
