Thiago Silva’s wife Belle Silva apologises for comments criticizing Pochettino

Belle Silva, the wife of Chelsea defender Thiago Silva, has issued an apology after her comments appeared to criticize Mauricio Pochettino.

Following Chelsea’s 4-2 defeat by Wolves, their 10th loss in the Premier League this season, Belle posted on social media, calling on Mourinho’s replacement.

While Pochettino has confirmed that he has spoken to Silva since her comment, in a new post on social media, Belle expressed regret for her remarks.

“I’m sorry that my personal outburst as a passionate Chelsea fan has caused such an impact,” she said.

Chelsea have lost their last two Premier League matches against Liverpool, 4-1, and the most recent against Wolves.

The home defeat to Wolves escalated issues, with many, including Silva’s wife calling on Pochettino to step down.

The Argentine manager will hope to redeem himself in tonight’s FA Cup replay against a strong Aston Villa side, after his men failed to capitalize on their chances in the first leg at Stamford Bridge.
