“They’re envious of me because my father is rich” – Davido throws shade?

Famous Nigerian afrobeat singer and Billionaire’s son, David Adeleke alias Davido has said his colleagues are envious of him because of his father’s wealth.

He made this disclosure amid reports making rounds on internet that he clashed with fellow singer, Burna Boy at a Ghanaian club over the weekend.

A video which later surfaced captured an unbothered Wizkid sipping his wine and minding his business while Davido angrily left the nightclub.

Reacting to the resurrected conflict, Davido took to Twitter and threatened to quit music which he subsequently made a u-turn, vowing to continue serving his fans massive hits back-to-back.

Meanwhile, in a fresh post on Instagram, Davido revealed that the reason he is hated by his industry colleagues (obviously referring to Burna and Wizkid owing to the recent Ghana clash) is because his father (Adeleke) is rich.

When a popular blog carried news of what he had said, Davido reposted the story and reaffirmed that the hatred he gets from colleagues is simply because of his father’s wealth.
