“They were exceptional, irreplaceable characters” – Do2dtun mourns Mr Ibu, Sisi Quadri
On-air personality, Do2dtun has taken to social media to express his grief over the passing of Nollywood actors, Sisi Quadri and John Okafor, better known as Mr Ibu.
Within two days, Nollywood was plunged into grief after losing two of its own. Yoruba actor, Sisi Quadri passed on Friday, March 1 while Mr Ibu lost his life following a cardiac arrest the next day.
The actors were characterised by Do2dtun as unique, remarkable individuals with a wealth of qualities.
He said that two greats who are difficult to replicate had passed away, marking an incredibly and unquestionably unpleasant day.
He declared that their legacy will never fade and encouraged everyone to aspire to greatness, citing the Nollywood legends as examples.
His words: “Today is just an extremely and and undeniably awkward day. Its a day to remember. Two greats that still had a lot to offer. They were exceptional; irreplaceable characters. You cant see a better Sisi or Mr Ibu. Hard to replicate.. Hard to see their type again. Very Sad.
“It’s over! but their legacy will never ever die. Strive to be exceptional cos these guys were 😞 What a day 💔 RIP 🪦”
