“They obviously don’t care about men in this country” – Man calls out police for not taking action after he was falsely accused of rape
A young man identified as @your_king_richard on Instagram has called out the Nigerian police for neglecting his complaint after he was falsely accused of rape.
The individual in question alleges that a woman falsely accused him of rape as a result of him rejecting her advances.
He urges the Nigerian police to take the appropriate measures, as many innocent men have been imprisoned due to negligence. He advocates for women who make such false accusations to be penalized in the same manner as actual rapists.
He further notes that the Nigerian police force is not taking the matter seriously and only responded after he publicly shared the situation on social media.
He has provided evidence, including a video of the woman admitting to falsely accusing him of rape and asking for forgiveness. The individual requests that justice be served in this matter, as he believes that if the situation were reversed, he would be behind bars. The individual also expresses disappointment in the lack of attention given to female on male crimes in Nigeria. He has visited the police station multiple times and believes that they are dragging their feet on the case, and not taking appropriate action.
He wrote:
“THIS WOMAN ACCUSED ME OF RAPE BECAUSE I TURNED HER DOWN, ALL FALSE RAPE ACCUSERS SHOULD SERVE THE SAME JAIL TERM AS ACTUAL RAPISTS. SHE TRIED TO RUIN MY LIFE AND I WANT THE NIGERIA POLICE FORCE TO DO THE RIGHT THING. MANY INNOCENT MEN ARE IN PRISON BECAUSE OF WOMEN LIKE THIS, I NEED HER IN JAIL! BECAUSE IF THE TABLES WERE TURNED ID BE IN FUCKING PRISON RIGHT NOW. FUCK YOU BITCH!!
“This is the problem with Nigeria, they don’t make female on male crimes seriously! I spent the whole of yesterday in the police station and I haven’t seen any notable action being taken, just stupid questions and dragging their feets around @nigeriapoliceforce. I’m here again right now and I’m being told to ‘chill’
“useless country, had to call them out online before they took the case.”
