“Their rice and N1k must fail them” – Peter Okoye shades politicians following massive turnout for PVC registration
Nigerian singer, Peter Okoye believes Nigerian youths are on the verge of voting out incompetent leaders in the country, following their massive turnout at voters’ registration centres.
Peter Okoye’s prediction comes a few days after he had instructed his security guards not to allow anyone without a Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) into his house or his office.
However, in a recent post on his Instagram channel, the singer took a swipe at Nigerian politicians, noting that their alleged bribe with bags of rice and N1,000 for electorates will fail them in 2023.
In his words: “Politically speaking! For the very first time see Nigerian youths turning out this much to get their PVC! Baba God don pick our calls 00000000A.
“For the fact that politicians have failed Nigerians doesnt mean you should sit down and say we should not take back our country. Go get your pvc’s….. The time is now. Atleast vote and have the right to condemn when things aint going right!
“Their Rice and #1k must fail them this time around.
“If they try to buy you for 1k Naira to vote for them. Tell them you also deserve the $40,000 they gave each delegates. Since dem think say dem get sense. Go and get your PVC’s.. Enough is Enough!”
