Takehiro Tomiyasu signs new Arsenal contract with increased wages
Arsenal have officially announced that defender Takehiro Tomiyasu has penned a new long-term contract with the club.
The 25-year-old’s previous deal was set to expire in 2025, raising questions about his future at the club.
However, Tomiyasu has now committed his future to Arsenal by agreeing to fresh terms, following in the footsteps of teammate Ben White, who recently signed a new contract as well.
Tomiyasu, who has made 55 Premier League appearances since joining Arsenal in 2021, is set to see a significant increase in his wages.
Reports suggest that he will now earn £100,000 every week, doubling his previous salary.
