“Street sef na school, you go learn lesson” – Portable gives pep talk, money to needy street hawker
Musician, Portable wins hearts as he gives a deeply inspiring speech to a young street hawker whose parents do not have money to sent him to school; he puts a smile on the boy’s face with a cash gift.
The singer was at this bar, having a hair when he was seen giving the pep talk to the boy.
He asked the boy why he wasn’t in school and the young hawker said that his mother didn’t put him in school.
Portable chided him by informing him that his mother didn’t put him in school simply because there is no money.
He added that even though the boy didn’t see the four walls of school, the streets as well have lessons to offer him if only he is willing to learn.
The Zazoo super star gifted the young man some couple of thousand naira notes to add to the money he has gotten from selling his wares.
