Slimcase recreates Wizkid’s ‘Essence’ music video, expresses love for him

Nigerian singer Slimcase has sparked a buzz as he recreated Wizkid‘s iconic music video for “Essence,” expressing his utmost admiration for him.

Via his Instagram page, Slimcase shared a video of himself recreating and mimicking Wizkid, naming his hit song, “Essence” as one of the singer’s biggest songs from his fourth studio album, Made In Lagos.

He listed other achievements that the song bagged including the 64th annual Grammy Awards for Best Global Music Performance.

He wrote: “Essence is one of the biggest project from BigWiz fourth studio album Made in Lagos Music video released April 9 2021 🎥 in Accra,Ghana The very first sound in history to chart on the billboard Hot 100 and the Billboard Global200 this song received a nomination at the 64th annual Grammy awards for best global music performance and its a classic song even up till this day Big up BigWiz the world await MORAYO 💿😎❤️🦅”

Taking to his Instagram story, Slimcase reposted the “Joro” crooner’s post with the caption: “Love you ❤️🦅”
