Six out of six: Osimhen maintains clean sheet from spot with decisive strike against Konyaspor

Victor Osimhen’s penalty scoring form came to the fore once again as the Super Eagles forward fired Galatasaray to a narrow 1-0 win over Konyaspor at RAMS Park.

The Nigerian striker, on loan from Napoli, has become an instant favourite among the Galatasaray faithful with his consistent goal-scoring.

With this latest strike, Osimhen now boasts 16 goals in all competitions this season, with six of them coming from the penalty spot.

The decisive moment came in the first half when he earned and confidently converted a penalty to hand Galatasaray all three points.

His goal extended his impressive form, having scored in his previous two matches — a 1-1 league draw against Hatayspor and a 3-3 UEFA Europa League thriller against Dynamo Kyiv.

Since joining the Turkish giants, the 25-year-old has racked up 16 goals and five assists in just 19 appearances, making him a key figure in the team’s title charge.

Galatasaray currently lead the Turkish Süper Lig, sitting nine points ahead of second-placed Fenerbahce.
