Simi advises up-and-coming singers on how to boost career with social media

Popular Afropop singer, Simisola Kosoko took to Instagram to offer advice to up-and-coming artistes that make bad use of social media.

The mother-of-one advised upcoming artistes to become more active and engaging on social media as regards their music in order to be able to sell themselves and their music. Simi further advised them to leave the air of mystery for when they’ve finally won.

In her words;

“You a “serious” growing artist and you have only 3 posts on your page.
A picture of the sunset, one of aeroplane, and one of your shoe. Captioned – Lost, but don’t find me.
Nothing with your music in it. That’s not a great look. If you want it bad bad, always be selling yourself. Leave the mysterious shit for when you’ve won! Even then, still leave it.”
