Joeboy’s reacts to Asa’s N300 million copyright infringement notice

Nigerian musician Joeboy has reacted to the #300 million copyright infringement notice slammed on him by singer, Asa.

In August, Joeboy premiered his sophomore singer of the year 2022, titled Contour. The song was produced, by genius beatmaker, Tempoe.

Following the release of the track, the singer was allegedly served a notice claiming that the song “Contour” infringed on the copyright of Asa.

As stated in the letter, Contour infringed on the copyright of a musical composition that was created by Asa in a recording session that took place on the 22nd of September, 2022 with producer, Tempoe in attendance.

Posting the said letter on his Instagram page on Monday 3rd of October, Joeboy called Asa’s bluff.

The “Contour” crooner went ahead to dare Asa to do her worse.

He wrote:

“Cos i dey always do love and light you think sey i be soft meat. You said i have 24 hours, it’s been 48hours, do something.”
