Leicester City have reportedly approached Maurizio Sarri to replace Enzo Maresca, who is expected to join Chelsea this summer.
However, Sportitalia reveals that the former Lazio coach is not interested in the Leicester role, awaiting more appealing offers.
Sarri, who left Lazio in March, is said to be taking his time to select his next club.
He has been linked with Fiorentina, Bologna, and Panathinaikos but has yet to make any commitment.
Leicester, recently promoted back to the Premier League after topping the Championship, hoped Sarri’s experience, including winning the Europa League with Chelsea, would be a good fit.
Despite their storied history with Italian managers, including Claudio Ranieri’s Premier League victory.
Leicester City shocked the football world to win the Premier League title in the 2015/16 season.
Ranieri, the then manager finished 10 points clear of the pack, with 81 points compared to the 71 of second-place Arsenal.
Even with this, Sarri remains uninterested in joining the Foxes at this time.
