Saidi Balogun mourns as he loses daughter, Zeenat

Popular Nollywood actor, Saidi Balogun is struck by tragedy following the demise of his daughter, Zeenat Balogun.

The actor shared the heartbreaking news with his followers on Saturday via his verified Instagram account.

In his post, Saidi Balogun posted a solemn image of candlelight surrounded by flowers, accompanied by heartbroken emojis, signalling the depth of his grief.

While he did not provide further details, the post left fans and colleagues mourning alongside the actor during this difficult time.

Fellow actress Ronke Oshodi Oke later confirmed the devastating news on her own Instagram account, expressing her sorrow and offering condolences to Saidi and his family.

“No words can ease the pain of losing someone so precious. My heart goes out to you @saidibalogun during this incredibly difficult time. May you find strength in the love and support surrounding you,” she wrote.

His estranged wife, Fathia Williams also commiserated with her ex-husband on the passing of her stepdaughter. In a post, she wrote, “😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭💔💔 Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un.”
