Sadiq offered to La Liga rivals amid limited game time at Real Sociedad

Super Eagles striker Umar Sadiq is eyeing a January exit from Real Sociedad after struggling for game time this season.

Reports from AS reveal his representatives have approached Sevilla, Getafe, and Valencia regarding a potential move.

Sevilla, who previously showed interest in the Kaduna-born forward last summer, could revive their pursuit.

The Andalusian club opted for Kelechi Iheanacho instead, but the Nigerian international has yet to make a significant impact, leaving room for another attacking option.

Getafe also emerge as contenders, having been linked to Sadiq in a collapsed swap deal involving Borja Mayoral earlier this year.

With the Madrid-based team scoring just 11 goals in 18 games, they may revisit the idea of signing the striker to bolster their survival hopes.

Real Sociedad, on their part, appear open to letting Sadiq leave, possibly on loan, as his tenure at the club has failed to yield substantial results.

Since joining the Basque outfit in 2022, the 27-year-old has managed four goals and two assists in 50 appearances across all competitions.
