Rudeboy calls out twin brother, Peter Okoye over release of new song
Nigerian singer, Rudeboy, calls out his twin brother, Peter Okoye, over his latest song, accusing him of unauthorized sampling.
Gistreel recalls that Rudeboy previously confirmed rumors of his split from twin brother, Peter Okoye, and alleged that Paul was behind his arrest by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
In a recent Instagram post, Peter Okoye announced the release of his brand-new single, ‘Attention’, now available across all music platforms.
His post read, “Brand New!!! “ATTENTION” Audio out on ALL Music platforms. Make sure you subscribe to my YouTube channel after listening! One love🤞🏾”.
However, Rudeboy has reacted to the release of ‘Attention’, claiming that he authored and originally sang the song.
Rudeboy alleged that Peter Okoye’s song ‘Attention’ sampled his work and was initially slated for release in June 2025.
He wrote, “Song title : WINNING Written and sang by RUDEBOY Produced by same producer“.
“NOW HOW COME ? NOW AM I SUPPOSE TO RELEASE ANOTHER VERSION? Mr Producer your case na for another day”.
“Just a simple thing : Bring 6 song let me bring 6 song … submitted my 6 songs to the so called management. why re-singing my own song 🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️ word for word 🤷🏾♂️ Song that was supposed to be in my album next year June 🤷🏾♂️”.
