Reno Omokri challenges Peter Obi to offer employment to embattled corper who criticized Tinubu

Reno Omokri, former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, has challenged Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi to offer employment to Ushie Rita Uguamaye, a National Youth Corps (NYSC) member, who recently expressed concerns about the economic hardship under President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
Omokri’s call came after Peter Obi publicly supported the corps member for her bold stance in speaking out against the current administration.
In a post shared on his Instagram page, Omokri questioned Obi’s support for the NYSC member, who allegedly has faced threats from NYSC officials for her criticism of the government.

Omokri suggested that if Peter Obi believed the corps member’s behavior reflected good upbringing and moral values, he should offer her a position in one of his companies.
He wrote:
“Peter Obi has several companies. I urge him to put his money where his mouth is. If he thinks that the National Youth Service Corps member, Ushie Rita Uguamaye, also known as Raye, displayed a good upbringing and projected the right moral virtues, then I challenge him to offer her automatic employment in any of his companies so she can bring that attitude which he now so admires into his companies and teach all Peter Obi’s employees to likewise behave like her.”
This public exchange follows Obi’s own show of support for Rita Uguamaye, also known as Raye, who voiced her dissatisfaction with the prevailing economic difficulties and government policies.
