Release Sunday Igboho or we’ll use our magical powers to free him – Group sends stern warning

The Agbekoya Farmers Society of Nigeria has announced plans to use traditional ways to liberate incarcerated Yoruba nation activist, Sunday Adeyemo, also known as Sunday Igboho, If Benin Republic continues illegally detaining him there.

While speaking at a peaceful rally on “State of the Nation” in Osogbo, the capital of Osun State, on Thursday, the association’s Chairman, Chief Kamorudeen Okikiola, made clear that Igboho is not a lawbreaker, but a freedom fighter who is being held unlawfully in prison due to the influence of the Government of nigeria on the Benin Republic.

They will use magic powers to get him out of prison, he claims, if he is not allowed to go free.

In his words:

“Sunday Igboho is not a criminal and we know he is being held illegally, Benin Republic Government has stopped taking him to court, hence, we demand that he should be released through legal means, if they refuse, we will use our magical power to get him out of the prison. I repeat, we Agbekoya, will get him out of Benin Republic detention and bring him back home”
