Real Madrid legend’s daughter follows in father’s footsteps to join Spanish capital giants

Real Madrid have signed Manuela Da Silva, 15-year-old daughter of legendary Brazilian left-back Roberto Carlos.

Da Silva has joined the club’s under-16 women’s team, continuing the family tradition at Real Madrid.

Roberto Carlos, who remains closely connected to the club as an ambassador and resident of Madrid, now has a personal reason to spend even more time at the Spanish capital.

Manuela is the third of Carlos’ children to play for Los Blancos, following in the footsteps of her brother, Enzo Alves, who has already made a name for himself at the under-15 level for Spain.

Manuela, unlike her father, plays as a right-winger.

She joins a long line of footballing relatives at Real Madrid, a club known for nurturing the offspring of former stars.

This includes the children of Zinedine Zidane and Eden Hazard, who have also come through the ranks at the club’s renowned academy, La Fábrica.
