Ratcliffe insists Ten Hag’s fate at Man United not in his hands

Manchester United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe has clarified that the decision regarding Erik ten Hag’s future will not rest with him.

The Dutch manager is facing mounting pressure after a recent poor run of four games without a win.

As United prepare for a crucial match against Aston Villa on Sunday, Ratcliffe, who is expected to attend the game, stated in an interview with the BBC that it’s not his place to make the call on Ten Hag’s position.

“I don’t want to answer that question. I like Erik. I think he’s a very good coach, but at the end of the day, it’s not my call,” Ratcliffe said.

The English Billionaire added that the club’s management team will be responsible for decisions regarding the future of the manager.

Ten Hag’s future remains uncertain as Manchester United look to reverse their poor form, after late draw against Porto in the Europa League.
