Rashford, Amorim no longer on speaking terms as Man United exit looms
Marcus Rashford’s relationship with Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has reportedly deteriorated to the point where they are no longer on speaking terms.
Rashford, 27, has not played for United since mid-December and is eager to leave Old Trafford this month, having publicly stated his desire for a “new challenge.”
However, Amorim has refused to include him in matchday squads, citing poor training performances and a lack of commitment.
The Portuguese coach even suggested that 63-year-old goalkeeping coach Jorge Vital would be more deserving of a spot on the bench than Rashford.
According to The Guardian, Amorim only addresses Rashford when speaking to the squad collectively.
Rashford remains a target for several clubs, including Barcelona, West Ham, Aston Villa, Tottenham, Borussia Dortmund, and Serie A side Como.
However, he is reportedly willing to take a pay cut to push through a move to Barcelona.
