Raphael Varane agrees to join Fabregas’s Serie A club Como

Raphael Varane is on the brink of signing with Serie A club Como , following discussions with co-owner and assistant manager Cesc Fabregas.

Varane has been a free agent since he left United at the end of last season. He has now opted to continue his career in Italy.

In a report by football transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, the deal to seal the former Real Madrid star is about to be completed.

“Raphael Varane says yes to Como proposal! The deal is on the verge of being completed.

“Project approved but it will take some days to review the contracts, then subject to medical, and then, here we go.”

Romano stated that Fabregas played a crucial role in the negotiations process, convincing the French man to join the newly promoted Italian side.
