Crystal Palace are reportedly preparing a move for Club Brugge midfielder Raphael Onyedika, who has also caught the attention of Barcelona.
According to several reports Palace’s recruitment chief, Dougie Freedman, recently traveled to Belgium to personally scout the player.
The London-based club are said to be prepared to submit a bid for the defensive midfielder during the upcoming summer transfer window.
However, they might face competition from several other European clubs also eyeing the young Nigeria talent.
At just 23 years old, Onyedika is regarded as one of the most promising young talents in European football.
He has so far this season, made 42 appearances across all competitions, during which he scored four goals and provided two assists.
Onyedika made the move to Club Brugge from Danish side FC Midtylland in 2022, and has since established himself as a key addition in their midfield.
