PSG’s Letellier, family reportedly attacked by two minors, others in ‘terrifying burglary’
Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Alexandre Letellier and his family were reportedly victims burglary early Tuesday morning.
According to French outlet RMC, Letellier, his wife, and their two children were held at knifepoint by the burglars who demanded money and jewellery.
During the attack, Letellier’s wife was said to have been hit in the face.
The incident occurred after the family was awoken by a security alarm around 2 am, prompting them to call the police.
By the time the police arrived, the intruders had already entered the family’s garden. One police officer sustained a knee injury during the intervention.
Fortunately, the police were able to quickly apprehend three of the four suspects, including two minors and an adult, who have since been placed in custody.
Letellier and his family reside in Yvelines, Northern France, with their two children aged two and six.
At PSG, Letellier serves as the third-choice goalkeeper but has yet to make an appearance for the Ligue 1 champions this season.
