Project manager shares encounter with graduate working as labourer

A project manager expresses concerns as he shares his encounter with an unemployed Nigerian graduate who works as a labourer at a building site.

On Monday, May 29, 2023, Amb. Olushola Olaniyan on Twitter posted images of a graduate who is currently unemployed and working in a menial position at a construction site.

In his tweet, the project manager praised the diligent and determined nature of the unemployed graduate.

He further highlighted that the unemployed individual is left with no choice but to undertake a menial job as a means of sustaining himself.

“Some time ago, I was at a construction site when I met a young, hardworking, & focused man. His attitude to work drew me closer to him, and I later knew that he was one of the many Nigerian graduates that survived on menial jobs to survive. Many of us could relate to this,” he wrote.
