AFCON 2019: President Muhammadu Buhari Reacts as Nigeria Outshines South Africa

Nigeria President, Muhammadu Buhari has reacted to the victory of the Super Eagles against the South African team by sending a congratulatory message to the team via his twitter handle.

Super Eagles of Nigeria has just amazed their country men as well as the whole world with an outstanding win secured against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa

With the 2-1 victory, Nigeria has qualified for the semi-finals of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

The president wrote;

“Congratulations to the Super Eagles on a well-deserved victory over South Africa, tonight. You represent the resilient and indomitable Nigerian spirit. Two more victories, and the coveted Trophy will come home to us. All Nigerians are looking forward eagerly.”
